Workshop participants were instructed to build effigies inspired by someone who carried a burden for them. These effigies were paraded down W Michigan Ave to Riverside Park, with music by Narooz Soliman and cloud currents. In the gazebo over Giwitatigweiasibi / Huron River, we weaved a web between the effigies with ribbons, illustrating burden transfer and collective struggles.
